Opera Singer Triumphs in Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood

Dominant Performance by Opera Singer

Opera Singer claimed a thrilling victory in the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood, demonstrating remarkable endurance and speed. Trained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by jockey Ryan Moore, the filly took a commanding lead with two furlongs to go. As the daughter of American Triple Crown winner Justify, Opera Singer showcased her lineage's prowess on the track.

Despite a strong late challenge from See The Fire, ridden by Oisin Murphy, Opera Singer held firm to secure the win. French Oaks winner Sparkling Plenty completed the race in third place, following closely behind the 9-4 victor.

Praise from the Trainer

Aidan O'Brien expressed his admiration for Opera Singer's performance, highlighting her class and determination. "She's very classy and Ryan just said she was waiting in front," O'Brien told ITV Racing. "To do that in front of a lot of fillies like that, and she fought as well, you'd have to be very impressed with her."

Opera Singer's victory adds to an impressive record, solidifying her reputation as one of the standout fillies in racing this season. The win at Goodwood further cements her status and showcases the skillful training and strategic riding that led to her success.
